BRINE PURIFICATION / FILTRATION
The filtration unit is used to reduce bacteria and molds in brine.
Compared to some other available technologies cleaning treatments or regeneration by pasteurization, this system keeps the brine constantly clean.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The REDA PURE BRINE system performs an in-line cleaning with cleaned brine returning to the tank. At the same time bacteria and molds are discharged. The plant therefore works at maximum efficiency with minimum waste of concentrate.
The unit uses spiral wound membranes and will work at the most suitable pressures to provide the required concentration ratio and a permeation flow that is compatible with the customer’s needs.
The pH of the brine will not be affected by Microfiltration.
The optimization of these parameters aims to save investment and operating costs.
The filtration system operates on a 24-hour recirculation with minimal cleaning cycles therefore the brine capacity is based on the regeneration time and not on the brine volume.
